Inspire Fencing offers high-quality fencing coaching for groups and individuals, from beginners to experienced fencers.

Coach Avery runs fencing for Tasmanian schools as taster sessions and 6-9 week classes.

The President of the Tasmanian Fencing Association, Avery's long-term goal is to build-up the fencing community in Tasmania to support an ongoing schools league, a veteran and youth circuit, and to eventually host National tournaments. Key to this goal is the growth of social fencing - the more the merrier!

Beginner courses cover the foundation skills of fencing, focusing on using the Epee; one of the three fencing swords.

Students learn footwork, blade work, tactics, and simple refereeing skills. Classes are run in a friendly and safe environment, and Coach Avery can come to your venue.
