Last week Tarremah grade 8s had a fun introduction to fencing, having studied the Medieval period earlier in the year.
Two groups of ten students donned fencing kits and had a stab at this 5,000-year-old sport.
The students were so friendly and enthusiastic and Avery looks forward to running fore fencing for them in Term 4.
Avery ran a very successful fencing taster for a group of keen students at Ogilvie High School after classes this week. The girls represented grades 7, 9 and 10.
The students were enthusiastic, friendly, polite and helpful. They were a joy to coach and represented Ogilvie very well!
Ogilvie will be offering after-school fencing sessions for interested students in Term 4.
